What is an orchestra?
An orchestra is defined as a group pf instrumentalist or musicians who or perform or play music together. It is a kind of music ensemble that combines different kinds of musical instruments from different families. An orchestra is usually led by a person called the conductor.

TYPES OF ORCHESTRA

1. Symphony orchestra: This is a large ensemble composed of wind, string, brass, and percussion instruments and organized to perform classical music.


2. Chamber orchestra: This is a smaller section of orchestra consisting of all the families but in smaller number.


3. String orchestra: This is an orchestra consisting solely of a string section made up of bowed instruments.



4. Brass orchestra: This is a type of orchestra that has only brass instruments in it.


5. Woodwind orchestra
6. Jazz orchestra etc.

  1. A. Jazz Orchestra: this is a musical ensemble that plays jazz music. Jazz band vary in the quantity of it's members and the style of jazz that they play but it is common to find jazz band made up of a rhythm section and a horn section.
    B. woodwind Orchestra: the woodwind instrument is one of the main section of an orchestra or concert band. Woodwind sections contains instrument given Hornbostelsachs classifications of 421 (edge-blown aeroplanes, commonly known as flute) and 422 (Reed aeroplanes), but exclude 423 (brass instruments).

These three music accidental can turn a pitch sharp, flat, or back to its natural state. - Sharp Sign : It is used to raise the value of a musical note or pitch by a semitone.  - Flat Sign : The flat sign is used to reduce the value of a pitch or musical not by a semitone. - Natural Sign : A natural sign is used to restore or bring back the value of a modified musical note back to its original position.
